Knights
Having known the owner of Knights saddles for a decade I was really excited when they said they’d develop their own brand (possibly more than one, watch this space!).
It’s taken a while, and it’ll take longer still to get the full range out there, but there has been SUCH care taken with these designs that I’ll take the wait, anyday. Top quality, made in Walsall from English hides, these saddles might look traditional, but it’s the subtle differences that matter.
These saddles have been designed and constructed to offer a fundamentally better way to sit the rider than most saddles, and to load them onto the horse’s back. Like Ghost they have a forward balance point enabling the rider to sit at the base of the wither (or close to) and give me a higher chance of getting the rider sitting over their feet, especially in dressage saddles.
Offering double and monoflap models, leisure GPs through to top end, customisable competition saddles I’m excited to offer these saddles going forward.
BRANDS
I only work with brands I truly love. Every brand I choose to work with I believe are exceptional in their field, offering manufacturing quality as well as performing well above any others that I’ve come across over the years. They’re not generally “tack shop brands”, but are the best of the best for my discerning customers who seek out the best solutions for the challenges they face for them and their horses.
Occasionally I will stop offering a brand and am continually developing my understanding of horse-saddle-rider which means that a brand may no longer fit with my current approach and understanding.
Changing one’s perspective is to be expected in such a complex area where we should always be learning more!

A large German company who offer all sorts of girths and stirrups, I carry some demos, sometimes have stock, but can order anything (they have a vast catalogue and website) needed for a saddle fitting. Competitive prices, mostly budget and mid priced options.Previous brands
